Drop is a coalition customer loyalty program, in which users earn points using their linked debit or credit cards.[1] Users choose five rewards partners such as Sephora, Starbucks, Uber, and Whole Foods Market to earn points with.[2] Drop is a Toronto-based company which was founded by Derrick Fung, Darren Fung, Cameron Dearsley, and Akhil Gupta in August 2015.[3] The program started in the Canadian market during August 2015 and expanded into the American market during October 2017, after a six-month private beta.[4] The Drop Rewards program requires that users download a companion app on an iOS or Android device. According to Drop, the service was designed as a way for brands to earn exposure with millennials.[5]
As of November 2017, the company had 500 thousand users.[6] This number has since risen to 1 million users as of January 2018.[7]

How Do You Earn Money with Drop App?
There are several ways for you to earn points on the app. The points you earn can be redeemed for various gift cards in a short amount of time. The minimum amount of credits needed to redeem a gift card is 5000 points, which will get you a $5.00 Gift card.

Once you linked a card, you get to earn points every time you use it on the app’s Power Offers. The offers basically just require you to make a purchase to be able to earn points.
For example, for every $1 you spend on Target, McDonald’s, or Walgreens you get to earn 10 points. If you use your card on Uber, you get 15 points for every $1 spent.
Shopping on Walmart gets you 2 points for every dollar spent, while Jet.com earns you 25 points for every dollar spent. The highest you can earn is 30 points for every dollar spent at Sam’s Club.
Drop continuously adds offers, so you might see new brands being added daily to the app’s offer list.
Drop App said that you should allow up to an 8 day grace period when it comes to getting your points. I receive mine in about 2 hours.
You can earn extra points through Linked and Mobile offers.
